ABOUT THE FILM
The sequel to the successful and much acclaimed first feature film ARTHUR & MERLIN (The Legend Begins) from MOVIEWORKS (a Sheffield based initiative to support emerging film talent).
THE STORY
This is an origins story based on the root Welsh tales of Arthur & Merlin from the 5th/6th centuries after the Romans have abandoned Britain; tales which were also an influence on J. R. R. Tolkien when creating his mythologies of Middle Earth.
SO FAR…
The sequel will again innovate using Virtual Production processes and technologies to deliver significant quality & cost improvements compared to the already very successful first film, Arthur & Merlin (The legend Begins).
The sequel is currently in pre-production. Initial investment from supporters of the first film has been secured. Much of pre-production has been completed and the producers are now in discussions with further investors for the full production finance.
